Hatori nods. “Oh. Well… hi,” he says, before walking and slipping into his office. He doesn’t notice the card fall out of his pocket as he shuts the door and crosses over to his desk. He gets out a key to unlock a drawer to put the card in. “…where’d I put it?”
Panther smiled and waited for Hatori to go into his office Panther leaned over and picked up the card from the floor and took a look at it. When he saw happy birthday on the card, he couldn’t help but grin. Hatori doesn’t want him to know his birthday? Too bad. Panther dropped the card onto the floor where he found it and walked off before Hatori comes back for it.
Hatori poked his head out the door a few seconds after Panther put the card back. He looks down both hallways before he picks the card up. He sticks it in the drawer and locks it. Satisfied that he’d kept his secret hidden, he walks back out and in to the kitchen to make himself some coffee.
Panther sat in the kitchen, water in a teapot on the stove. “You want some tea Hatori?” Panther smiled at him. He wanted to get something or do something nice for his birthday, but what? “Uhm…Hatori, is there anything that you want or wanted to do that you never got to? Like whether it be something sexual or something cute or anything.”
